2010 Residential Qigong Retreats: Sedbergh, Western Dales, Cumbria

*Spring Qigong Retreat: Kunlun Bagua:

15th to 19th March 2010

*Late Summer Qigong Retreat: Kunlun Bagua:

30th August to 3rd September 2010

Spend four nights in a stunning location at the foot of the Howgills in the Western Dales in Cumbria. You will stay in a spacious and beautifully converted barn, off the beaten track with a full view of the fells, yet only five minutes walk from the market town of Sedbergh. This revitalising retreat runs from Monday to Friday lunchtime and mixes enegy enhancing exercise in the mornings with time to explore the area in the afternoons.

Kunlun Bagua comes from Wild Goose Qigong, an ancient self-healing system with the same root as Tai Chi, which promotes the body’s health and vitality. The movements are enjoyable and can produce an immediate sense of enhanced well-being. Developing postural awareness allows tensions to dissolve, giving access to your natural energy flow.

You will have ample free time to explore the fells and rivers in the immediate area, to make a trip to the Lake district (Windermere is about 30 minutes drive away) or simply to relax and unwind. Combine a health enhancing Qigong retreat with a mini-holiday.  Sedbergh is an atractive market town with a very bookish feel.

Each retreat includes:
20 hours of detailed instruction with two engaging and experienced teachers.
Four nights accommodation.
Extravagant breakfasts
Reception dinner on Monday evening.
Self –catering facilities, if required, for other meals.
